Come October 28-29, witness music and the tranquillity of the mountains surround you at this festival in Landour, Mussoorie.
With the Indian music festival scene only getting better with time, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the festival fandom is multiplying. And while the cities are experiencing what they call some of the biggest artists perform, Landour is gearing up what what we term as its own kind of fun. To be held on October 29, 2017 is The Big Gig festival, a festival that welcomes you to experience music in the mountains. The key highlight of the festival is going to be the performances at Highlands at 7550ft Rokeby Manor, to be held on October 29.
Promoting local talents and promising an exclusive artist lineup with lots of events is what makes The Big Gig a festival to attend during this fall season. Adding onto the performances is the feeling of being surrounded by beautiful, lush hills of Landour. Also, held at this festival is the Big Gig Buzzar that promotes local social businesses, heritage walks and nature trail walks. Not only is the festival a call to experience the beauty of nature but also a step towards educating tenth grade children at Village Kaplani and help them prepare for their board examinations.
