Even before its big debut from 27th to 29th December, 2018, in Vagator, Goa, it looks like TIMEOUT 72, India’s largest multi-genre music festival, is setting the bar high. So get your tickets at the soonest onย Insider, Paytm or BookMyShow.
And you would believe us too, once you take a look at these early images of the stage designs for the festival.
Inspired by the concept of epoch, constellation and space, every stage has been designed keeping in mind the theme revolving around this year’s edition. You know the sheer hard work and creativity that has been put into creating these masterpieces when you hear that it took more than a whopping 3 months to design and will involve a workforce of close to 100 labourers to implement the designs on-ground for show day.
The Main Stage will be labelled as โMajorisโ which means the mightiest and the biggest in the space theory. You can be sure that is will be Indiaโs biggest festival stage yet, measuring at 200 x 55 feet. And guess what, it’s going to be 3D, so you can expect a mesmerizing audio-visual spectacle after every headliner set. We’re talking CO2 blasts, pyro, confetti, blinder lights, SFx and lasers!
The Psy Stage will be titled โEximiusโ, referring to the finest and the rarest in the space theory. It will feature hundreds of lights that illuminate the stage to perfection. Grand by daylight, the experience is amplified when bright psychedelic lights power up the stage post sundown. With psy music and a trippy stage to accompany it, you can expect to be taken into a trance-like state.
The Live Stage will be termed โProximiusโ, signifying propinquity in the space theory. With this, the stage presents fans with the opportunity to get up close with their favourite bands in action. What more can a fan ask for?
With this comes the mastery of German company Layher, the world’s manufacturer of scaffolding systems. Their expertise will come into place when they hold the Main Stage in place. Another German company, d&b audiotechnik SL Series, will provide the sound for the festival.
However, the stages and their insane production quality are not the only factors that are going to grab attention at the festival. You can look forward to venturing into an artistic paradise that creatively captures the essence of time with mammoth art installations like an hour glass, a clock tree house and more. Grab your grub at the Time Tasters zone, where ‘Time Travellers’ like yourself can take a break in between sets to make the most of gourmet delights made available. The Time Trekkers zone is ideal for adventure junkies who need a rush of adrenaline to kickstart their day. But if you’d like nothing better to do than chill out and enjoy the Goan vibe, then head straight to the Time Trippers zone. ย
