The Asian edition of the largest music festival in the southern hemisphere will be held in Singapore next year

The last edition of FMFA Malaysia turned out to be a total disaster for the organisers, as they were forced to cancel the third day of the event following a number of deaths at the festival. It also came under the radar for not providing refunds for the cancelled day — an issue which remains unresolved till date. All of these tremendous management disasters seemed to point towards the indication that the festival might need some changes.

Festival director Brett Robinson recently confirmed that the Malaysian contract with the gathering had expired this year, and they’ve just locked down Singapore as the next destination for Future Music Festival, Asia.

Dates for the main Australian edition have also been announced, with Drake, The Prodigy, Afrojack and Avicii headlining. So expect to see some of these acts in Singapore as well. While the dates for FMFA Asia stand unannounced, you should seriously consider making this trip.
