The audience are in for a musical treat as they bear witness to the smooth mix of English and Hindi Rap with Divine, Bombay Bassment, Prabh Deep + DJ SEZ, DJ KAN-i and KRSNA.

Born and raised in the ‘gullies’ of Mumbai, Divine has come to be known as ‘The Voice Of The Streets’ as he pays homage to the beautiful city that is Mumbai. Through his music, the award-winning rapper and hip-hop artist narrates stories of the people he has grown up with during his childhood. With successes like his hit 2013 release “Yeh Mera Bombay” going viral as well as his 2015 summer smash “Meri Gully Mein” and 2016 hit “Jungli Sher”; the star is receiving global recognition.
Bombay Bassment

One of the best hip-hop DJs in India over the past 10 years, DJ KAN-i has performed all over the world! From Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune to New York, Los Angeles, Dubai and Bangkok; he has brought his sound to music lovers everywhere. He has even opened for International artists like Grammy award-winning Chamillionare (VH1 Hip-hop Hustle) Wyclef Jean, Kardinal Offishal, Apache Indian, Jay Sean and Raghav.
KRSNA

Another prodigy of New Delhi, rapper KRSNA originally got recognition for his socio-political raps in Hindi. However, the artist is now strongly focusing on making rap music in English as he hopes to open the eyes of the global music audience to the talent and skills of Indian rappers.
Speaking about hosting the event, Mr. Rajendra Kalkar, President (West), The Phoenix Mills Limited said, “We have seen a very positive response to our monthly property AWESTRUNG and it is indeed growing big. This month we have curated HIP- HOP artists from around the country who are known to be masters of their music and we hope our shoppers enjoy them as much as we do curating it every month.”
