The legendary guitarist of Guns N Roses – Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal is going to be touring India with Dubai based hard rock band Point Of View!


A magical combination like this comes around rarely and this is one coming-together of the greats you don’t want to miss. Ronald Jay Blumenthal a.k.a. Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal is going to be teaming up with Dubai-based hard rock band Point of View to do a tour of India. Rocking isn’t it? The tour is going to cover 5 cities and is part of Point Of Views launch tour for their latest album – ‘Revolutionize the Revolutionary’.

Ron who is currently the lead guitarist in legendary band Guns N’ Roses, is an American guitarist, songwriter, recording artist and producer. He talent and skill with the guitar is almost un-matchable and his fingers as fast as lightning! This master of the strings, joined GNR as the replacement for the mysterious ‘Buckethead’ and inculcated his unique style into the band’s soundscape.

This will be Ron’s second trip (as far as we know at least) to India, following the ‘Guns N’ Roses India tour ‘in December last year. And this time his performance is going to include jams with some of India’s biggest names in the rock world including Warren Mendonsa (Blackstratblues), Bruce Lee Mani (TAAQ), Surojit Dev (Them Clones), Vikramjit Banerjee (Krosswindz) apart from playing along with Point Of View. He and Point of View will also be playing with French metal band Hacride [who stop by Kolkata as part of their India tour] and Maldivian heavy metal band Nothnegal.

Wednesday, June 12th – Hard Rock Cafe, Bengaluru

Thursday, June 13th – Hard Rock Cafe, Mumbai

Friday, June 14th – Hard Rock Cafe, New Delhi

Saturday, June 15th – Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata
