Hardwell’s World’s Biggest Guestlist sparked a revolution by raising funds for charity while simultaneously giving fans a more intimate experience.

The World’s Biggest Guestlist went down in history as the world’s single largest EDM event. Featuring one of DJ Mag’s top rated DJs, Hardwell, the event attracted over 100,000 fans to the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. The entire gig was live streamed via Hotstar and received over 10 million views from 75 different countries. 100,000 fans were given a chance to be put on Hardwell’s private guestlist allowing them free access to the entire show as a way to thank them for their support.

The concert was not just Hardwell’s way to thank his fans, but also a means to generate funds for the betterment of impoverished Indian children. Through the efforts of Hardwell’s charity United We Are Foundation, Guestlistevent.in and Shailendra Singh, owner of Percept and founder of the United Welfare Trust, the event raised enough money to fund over 18,000 underprivileged children via the Magic Bus charity project.

“It was time to give back,” says Shailendra. “After 10 years of running Sunburn and making it the third largest festival in the world, I was recently feeling like a dance music whore. Cutting bigger and bigger checks to booking agencies and putting up with unreasonable demands from artists and managers. This Guestlist event was about getting back to the emotions of dance music, and uniting for a cause. Luckily, Hardwell and Anna understood my vision, and we took things to the next level.”

Keeping the momentum built up, Shailendra has set himself a personal goal of double the amount of children educated in 2016 alone. He also expressed his desire to take the charity/guestlist format event on a world tour which was already in the works.
