To celebrate two decadesย of the famed Electric Daisy Carnival, Insomiac Events is uploading 20-year playlists of specially curated electronic music over the years!
The so-called ‘EDC 20-Year Playlist Series’ will showcase some of the best songs to ever grace the EDM industry, and each upload will come with an editorial on the Insomniac website that will talk about the scene at that time.
The uploads have started, with EDC having uploaded a playlist titled ‘2008’, featuring the phenmenal ‘I Remember’ by Kaskade and Deadmau5, among some other hits by Green Velvet, Eric Prydz, Crookers, Benga and more.
The festival had its humble beginnings in LA in the year 1997, and has since grown into a multi-continent extravaganza. The 20th edition of EDC will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on June 17, and it promises to be bigger than ever!
