Kanye, Pharrell, Foo Fighters, Ben Howard, Florence & The Machine, Rudimental and a massive range of the world’s finest musicians are heading to the UK this year.Β
Glastonbury is one of the worldβs foremost festivals, and this reflected in the fact that tickets for the 2015 edition sold out in less than half an hour. Their line-up announcements are always looked forward to by audiences from around the world, and yet again, they haven’t disappointed.
When phase one was announced, the world of Twitter expressed their opinions quite vociferously, check them out:
First came the crippling (and even deadly apparently) anticipation…
Wish I had a pound for every time I’ve typed #glastonburylineup into Twitter and Google. GLASTO, YOU’LL KILLING ME. #patienceisavirtue

Some folk were not-so-stoked about it.
Only just seen it but that Glastonbury line up is dreadful. Must be getting old. #Glastonbury β Steve Entwistle (@EntyMCFC) April 15, 2015
As #glastonbury has just confirmed #KanyeWest as headliner it’s just confirmed that I won’t be attending. #GlastonburyLineUp #knobhead

Apart from Chemical Brothers & few a decent turns some of #Glastonbury line up looks pretty bad this year.

While some chose to take the humorous road.
I hope the clown who set up the anti-Kanye #Glastonbury petition is ready to contest the omission of The Twang from this year’s lineup. β Tom Hooper (@ThomHoops) April 14, 2015
@Independent I see Lionel Richie is on the bill. Good, I’ve been wanting to say “hello” to him for a long time. #Glasto #GlastonburyLineUp β David Legion (@DavidLegion1) April 15, 2015
Don’t worry, there are many who do appreciate it…
With all the great acts on the #GlastonburyLineUp your schedule will clash worse the Bristol City’s kit.
