Get ready for some thunder down under as the full line-up for the festival spread out over 5 citites in Australia will be revealed on October 22
Summer festival announcements are now in full swing and now one of Australia’s biggest music events, the Future Music Festival has confirmed when and where it will take place in 2015, as the dance festival swings through the country next February and March.
There’s a big change in the itinerary. Though it traditionally kicks off in Brisbane, next year Future will begin charting its course from Sydney – at the Royal Randwick Racecourse in late February – before rolling through Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide throughout March.
Rumors strongly suggest that British electronic duo Basement Jaxx will be performing at the festival, but the whole line-up of artistes will be revealed on October 22. Future organisers have promised a star studded line-up, teasing,
“We’ve got you THE biggest names of today – global, powerhouse chart-toppers – alongside the hottest stars of tomorrow.”

Saturday, February 28 – Royal Randwick Racecourse, Sydney (18+)
Sunday, March 1 – Arena Joondalup, Perth (18+)
Saturday, March 7 – RNA Showgrounds, Brisbane (18+)
Sunday, March 8 – Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne (18+)
Monday, March 9 – Adelaide Showground, Adelaide (15+)
Last year’s line-up took in everything from mainstage superstars Deadmau5 and Hardwell to Pharrell Williams and Eric Prydz’s first show ever on Australian soil, so you can expect big things from the 2015 line-up. Stay tuned to this space for more news.
