After touring more than 32 countries and welcoming over 2 million visitors, the first-ever Sensation is coming to Dubai on October 31st. Dubai will become the first city in the Middle East to host the event, after sell-out shows in places like Amsterdam, New York and Bangkok. The Meydan will be transformed into a white-oasis, where 15,000 people will get to experience the show of a lifetime. Here are five things that will make Sensation Dubai one of the most memorable gatherings ever:
1. The first of it’s kind

This will be the first time that Sensation will be held in an outdoor premises. The Meydan Racecourse in Dubai is the venue chosen to host the first ever outdoor Sensation in the Middle East. The first ever Sensation (previously called Sensation White) was held at the Amsterdam Arena, the home stadium of Dutch powerhouse soccer team, Ajax. With a reputation among lovers of house and electronic music as the World’s Leading Dance Event, the ‘Source of Light’ show at Meydan is sure to be one to remember.
2. Star-studded roster

The acts assembled for Sensation Dubai are absolutely fantastic. Sensation’s resident Mr. White will start the night and sets the perfect vibe up effortlessly. Followed by Russian duo Hard Rock Sofa and Roger Sanchez, the line-up is spectacular in each and every way, considering the phenomenal Martin Garrix will also close the evening at the Meydan.
3. The typical festival wardrobe will take a backseat

The dress code for the event is strictly white. This tradition has been a constant since the inception of Sensation, and there will be no exceptions to this rule. Sorry kandi lovers, you’re going to have to sit this one out.
4. The production is going to be off the hook

Sensation is an ID&T property and that’s enough to guarantee a top notch set up in itself. Although the Dubai edition is being jointly put together by local event house Envie Events and ID&T, the latter delivers stage production that is second to none. Mysteryland and Tomorrowland are two of the projects they’ve handled, you might have heard of them. So now you know what’s in store for you.
5. Pure leisure

For those who prefer the ‘good life’ in terms of luxury, Sensation Dubai is the perfect place for you. The area surrounding the venue is owned by the prestigious Meydan group, and the venue, The Meydan Racecourse, is home to the Dubai World Cup and thoroughbred horse racing.
