The fifth edition of Electric Forest will return on June 25 – 28 2015 in Sherwood Forest, Michigan. With gorgeous displays of lights, scenery and stages, the production value of the festival is on par with some of the best music festivals in the world. This has created a loyal and devoted fan base, whose passion for this festival knows no bounds. To thank those loyal fans who have attended previous installments of the festival, Electric Forest has created two different loyalty programmes that offer these guests a discounted opportunity to return to the Sherwood Forest for the 2015 celebration. There had been some fear that due to either legal matters or some serious complaints from the forest locals, Electric Forest 2015 was doubtful, or at the very least, needed to change venues. However, considering the boost to the local economy that the festival promises, the plan to cancel the event or shift the venue was chucked.
The line-up of this year’s Electric Forest was a balance of Jam and Electronic that came together to perfectly fit the vibes that accompany the forest. With names like the String Cheese Incident, EOTO, and Cherub to quench your need for live instrumentation, and Zeds Dead, The Glitch Mob, Steve Angello, Zedd and Paper Diamond to satisfy your need for electronic, the roster covered all bases. The 2015 line-up still stands unannounced, in the meanwhile, you can enjoy this five part post-event video series reliving some of the sights, sounds and memories from the Electric Forest 2014:
