A reunion worth waiting for! #StillDre

On the first weekend at Coachella, Ice Cube managed to get DJ Yella, MC Ren, Snoop Dogg and Common on stage for a power packed performance. Though Dr. Dre was missing, it seemed the partial reunion couldn’t be topped. That was of course proven wrong when Ice Cube asked the question plaguing us all, “Is there a doctor in the motherfucking house?” Not only did Dr. Dre join him on stage but he also performed the classics Still D.R.E. and the famous 2Pac collaboration California Love.

Before Dre came on stage, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella got the crowd pumped with Straight Outta Compton and Fuck Tha Police while powerful images from the Black Lives Matter movement were displayed on the large screens. Lil Eazy-E then paid a tribute to his father, the late Eazy-E, with a rendition of Boyz N The Hood. One of the hottest MCs in the game currently, Kendrick Lamar, who also recently inducted N.W.A. into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, made an appearance to perform his track Alright.

The night was made even more special with Ice Cube dedicating the entire show to the legendary Prince, who recently passed away on April 21.
