“Defunct is about serious music, serious listeners and some seriously good DJ’s. To break the barriers of the conventional and introduce a new dimension in the existing format of what was once our solace, our haven, OUR SCENE.”

Internationally acclaimed DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner David Khanjian, aka Davi has been producing electronic dance music since he was 17, and has since built his reputation as one of the finest artistes to surface from Los Angeles.

Having grown up listening to the sounds of Pink Floyd & Led Zeppelin, the Armenian born producer dove right into the underground scene after moving to LA in 2006.

Davi’s countless hours in the studio opened many doors for him, first of which was remixing Robert Babiczs’Zero” anthem which was released on the new Treibstoff label at the time. Earning recognition from top DJs in the scene like John Digweed, Guy J, Nick Warren, and 16 Bit Lolitas; Davi began establishing a name for himself in the Los Angeles underground scene.
