All right, Coachillers, it’s time to plan your weekend.

Coachella released set times this Tuesday for each of it’s live acts performing at the desert music festival this year. As usual, the scheduling seemed to come together at the last minute – not a surprise, considering the logistical nightmare of accommodating dozens of rock stars and their entourages.

The announcement came with additions. Slotted amid the set times was rock act the Pixies and Strokes leader Julian Casablancas. Both were added to Saturday’s lineup. As they have for the past two years, the annual three-day festival is duplicating their lineup over two weekends: April 11 – 13 and April 18-20.

The festival brings together a variety of cross genres together with this year being headlined by Muse, Arcade Fire and the now re-united, Outkast. It will also feature it’s own dance stage called ‘Sahara’ consisting of acts such as Michael Brun, Adventure Club, Zedd, Fatboy Slim, Krewella & Alesso among others.

Then comes The Do Lab known for featuring everything from strange to beautiful. An in true fashion of the stage, the avant-garde performance troupe, The Lucent Dossier Experience will be back to perform their usual and unusual musical acrobatics. Also returning to the stage are Dirtybird members Worthy, J. Phlip and Christian Martin, Jupit3r, Kastle, Kraddy, Sammy Biss and deep/tech-house duo Thugfucker.

Last year, each festival weekend sold three-day passes to 90,000 attendees, according to event organizer Goldenvoice.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place in Indio, California, about 127 miles east of Los Angeles. It first took place in 1999 and lost $800,000, but it is now the most profitable music festival in the U.S.

And while The Sherp maybe planning a Coachella weekend himself, he is quite amused himself with erm..a variety of reactions to the set timings.
