Totally pawsome!

Ever wished you could give your pooch an amazing festival experience? Barkfest is the perfect place for your furry babies to chill and have the time of their lives. With pawsome games, activities and of course, a doggy pageant, Barkfest 2016  took place on May 22 and was a total hit.

The festival just ended its second edition and it was definitely much bigger and better than the first one. This year included live performances by local bands Tanlines and Great Caesar. Activities included Run Around The World, where dogs could jump over obstacles like the Great Wall of China, or swim in the River Nile. Also included was a colourful ball-pit where dogs and their humans could spend quality time together.

If your furry bff needed some classy TLC, there was also a section called Arts & Culture Pawvillion, where the dogs could indulge in things more refined such as the Sniff Around the World -an exhibit presenting yummy and pleasant smells for your dog’s more developed senses. You could also get adorable caricatures of your dog standing next to famous monuments.

The festival also hosted a meet and greet for world famous canines such as @marniethedog and @tunameltsmyheart! Food trucks dished out delicious organic pizza, burgers and hot dogs as well tasty doggie treats. Cold beer flowed pretty freely. One of the highlights was the chew toy store, that sold toys such as the Dognald Trump or Hillary Kitten.
