If you’re into rock, metal and punk then the Amnesia Rockfest is the perfect place to go this summer. Now in it’s twelfth year, it’s taking place soon between the 22nd and 25th of June in Montebello, Quebec and you can experience live performances from bands such as Ramstein, Queens of the Stone Age, Iggy Pop, Megadeth, The Offspring, Eagles of Death Metal, Bullet for My Valentine, Killswitch Engage as well as many Canadian bands, with other performers travelling across the world to play here. If you looking for something the whole family can enjoy, then the Festival d’etΓ© de Quebec is what you want. Spanning over a week in July, from the 6th to the 16th, you can do a lot more than listen to music. While the likes of Muse, Backstreet Boys, Gorillaz, Metallica, Pink and The Who will be performing, there are countless activates to do and see, such as art exhibitions, the giant puppets of Plasticiens Volants, the Transe Express giant mobile and more. Now celebrating it’s fiftieth year, the Festival d’etΓ© de Quebec, you can get tickets from $90, with kids under eleven getting in for free.

The 150th birthday of the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest is being held this July and you can get in on the action. Between the 6th and 16th of July, some of the tops musicians in the world will be performing. At the festival you will be able to catch 50 Cent, Muse, Pink and top blues acts from all over. The show sold out last year, so you don’t want to miss out. If you want to see some top class music or you’re just looking for something to do in Ottawa this summer, then the Bluesfest is where you should be.
