This is an ongoing effortΒ to spread the beautiful culture and principles that Burning Man proudly represents.

The non-profit that runs Burning Man is reportedly expanding to the Netherlands next year. With the flagship event traditionally held in Black Rock City, Nevada and smaller regional events all over the world, this isΒ a move welcomed by many. The new festival dubbed Where The Sheep Sleep will be held in a region known as Veluwe which is famous for its expansive forests and lakes, from July 29 to July 31.

Though the eventΒ will not be called Burning Man Netherlands, it’ll still be based on BM’s Ten Principles which include gifting, decommodification, radical inclusion, radical self reliance, and civic responsibility.Β To get your hands on tickets, you first have toΒ joinΒ the Burning Man NL Facebook group, then obtain your Event Membership here.

This news comes right after BM purchased a 3,800 acre in Nevada for year long activities that lead up to the main event.
