Tomorrowland has topped the bucket list for every EDM lover and the festival’s following in India has only grown over the years. The Belgium festival has the ultimate line-up this year with modern dance music legends Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Eric Prydz, Marshmello, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Laidback Luke, Krewella and Seven Lions on the bill.

If you can’t wait already to be a part of the historical moments that’ll go down this July, look no further. The Sherp’s got the lowdown on the bankrolls you’ll need for a round trip to Boom at Belgium, stay at the festival, eat, drink and rave!

1. Festival Tickets

While day and festival only passes (Full Madness, Magical Friday, Incredible Saturday, Glorious Sunday) for attending the festival costing between 30, 000 INR – 50, 000 INR and Dreamville camping passes are pretty much sold out, only Global Journey passes remain. The packages you can choose from offer train, flight, bus, hotel, tourism, group packages to attend the event apart from other features. The Global Journey passes are available for above 1,00, 000 INR. You can try your luck here at Viagogo to score the last few hundred all days-only festival tickets.

2. Flying To Belgium

In case you’ve already bought festival tickets and don’t need no Global Journey packages, flying down is now the easiest part! You’ll need to arrive on the 20th for the festival that takes place from 21st – 23rd and the second weekend from 28th – 30th July. Booking your flights three months in advance to Antwerp, Belgium which is 16 kilometers / 10 miles north of the venue at Boom, Belgium you might get some good deals on ticketing vendor sites. For both Delhi and Mumbai, we found ticket prices coming to above 60, 000 INR.

3. The Stay

With the Dreamville packages for staying at the festival grounds in tents are sold out, there are actually cheaper options of staying at hostels, dorms and hotels in and around Boom and Antwerp.  Hotels in Brussels or Antwerp are more popular and once you’re there you can board a train to the venue at Boom or avail the bus and train packages from the Global Journey ticketing options. While hostel accommodations start from around INR 2, 000 a day, twin sharing hotel rooms for less than INR 10,000 a night. 

4. Food And Beverages

The fairy tale destination that is the 3 day fiesta features cosy cocktail bars and tasty and healthy food for a holistic festival experience. While a beer can costs around EUR 2, you can savour a light snack for under EUR 5, making food at Tomorrowland pretty darn inexpensive. Meals per day along with alcohol easily come under EUR 50, or INR 3700!

5. Sightseeing At Belgium

If you’re putting up at one of the hostels or hotels in and around Antwerp or Brussels, you have got to soak in the culture of Belgium and the Netherlands. Luckily, checking out the historic buildings and museums doesn’t weigh down your budget with most tourist charges being pretty inexpensive or negligible.

 6. Total Cost

It’s time to round things up, peeps! A round trip (INR 62,000) + putting up (INR 30,000) + festival tickets (INR 30,000)  + F &B (INR 20,000)+ local travel = above INR 1,20,000 . If you’re tenting it up at the festival grounds with a Dreamville package it’s going to cut a bigger hole in the wallet but we’ve heard its totally worth it!
