Come November 9-12th, debut festival edition of Wonderflip – an immersive arts and music festival, will kick off in Khempur which is a rural town, 45mins away from Udaipur, Rajasthan. The festival marks itself as the first of its kind, that brings to you an eclectic mix of circus performers, artists, the best of live and electronic musicians, a venue that lets you seep in the best of views, and so much more.

1. The Music

Featuring a diverse and eclectic lineup, Wonderflip will have stellar performances, across their 2 immersive stages, ‘The Big Top’ and ‘The Marquee’. With the musical lineup spanning across live and electronic artists, the music sure will be out of this world! Each day of the festival has a special theme, such as “Vintage Circus”, “Salvador Dali” and “Fairyland”, respectively.

2. Tickets

If you haven’t already got your tickets to the festival, then sadly you’re too late to book your on-site camp accommodation. However, you can still get your festival tickets for INR 10,500 here. Earlier Wonderflip were selling out packages that availed the attendee of a festival ticket+accommodation, ranging from INR 11,500 to INR 62,000. The packages have now sold out.

3. Getting There

Below listed are the round-trip flight costs from Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, sourced via Skyscanner. Find your most cost-effective option below, and book right away!

Once you’ve landed at Udaipur airport, it is a 45 min drive to the festival venue. A pre-booked taxi will charge you as much as INR 700-800, whereas booking an Uber or Ola will cost you lesser around INR 400-500 to the venue.

For internal travel, if you choose to stay away from the festival venue, you can either book a car rental service that will charge you a minimum of INR 2000 per day, or you may even rent your own car via Zoomcar or any other service. Please be advised: Drinking and driving not only endangers your life, but of people around you as well! Drive safe!

There are limited to no taxis available at the venue if you want to head back to your hotel or the nearest town. Be prepared and have your transport ready.

Wonderflip takes place in the rural town of Khempur in Rajasthan at the real Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, from November 9th to 12th.

4. Accommodation

Wonderflip is all about the experience of being one with nature, and having the best of festival experiences with an extensive and specially curated selection of artists, music, gourmet food, circus acts, performers, and a luxurious camp stay option. As an outdoor festival, Wonderflip serves well to host a range of camping options. Accommodation at the festival has now filled up. The cheapest camp stay option was for INR 11,500 plus taxes, which was the pitch your own tent option, that also availed 1 single ticket to the festival.

5. Food & Beverages

Relish on scrumptious gourmet food round the clock at Wonderflip. As the festival organizers say, ”You will never go hungry or thirsty at Wonderflip”! They have a wide selection of specially selected gourmet food by caterers that will be placed at the Circus Bazaar food area, and spread across the rest of the venue. Alcohol and soft drinks too will be made available at similar points. Free water will be available across specific water points at the venue.
