This year, renowned acts like Eric Prydz, the Pet Shop Boys and Chase & Status top the bill, along with other big names like Metronomy and Justice. Fans of electronic music are well catered to here, as there’s a fantastic mix of musical genres, with Oasis front man Liam Gallagher headlining on Sunday and Kylie Jenner’s rapper beau Travis Scott playing on Thursday night. Location
Nearby Barcelona is a hot spot for live events, playing host to all sorts of activities beyond music festivals. In 2017, the city entertained the PokerStars Championship with much success, and this year saw the Formula 1 World Championship come to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in nearby Montmeló. Down the coast from Benicàssim, València plays host to Las Fallas, the festival of fire, every March and the Night of San Juan every June. Both cities have the ideal laidback vibe during the day but can transform into real party towns at night, so there’s plenty to explore outside of the festival.
