Introducing… the beer gaming culture in India!
It’s October – the month that commemorates your second favorite B-word. That’s right – BEER! Crossbar Entertainment is organizing India’s first-ever large scale beer gaming festival called Belly Fest in Mumbai this month!
The enterprising folks at Crossbar Entertainment came up with the idea of having an exclusive beer gaming fest after playing a variety of beer games across pubs in Pune and Mumbai, and thought why not have an entire festival devoted to the best thing to happen to mankind – beer? And that’s how their immense love for beer led to the creation of Belly Fest.
This will be the first edition of Belly Fest, although Crossbar had previously organized a ‘Mini Belly Fest’ in July this year – a sort of prelude to the main event. So what can you expect at this beer fest? Where do we begin? Stimulating beer games like Beer Pong (duh!), Flippy Cup, Beer Crawl, Chugging, Pyramid among many others, and even their innovations like ‘Beer Dog-In-The Bone’. Also, be prepared for some eccentric stuff like chugging beer from baby feeding bottles!
The event will feature around 150 teams consisting of 3 beer lovers each. Each team will be given a minimum of 16 beers (and more if you qualify for the knock-out rounds). A total of four teams will qualify for the semi-final round, which will then lead to the knockout, which will start after 8 pm. The winning team will receive prizes worth Rs. 50,000!
The beerfulness will be accompanied by local talents playing some groovy dance music!
