Sonar 2017 has revealed their initial line-up and it couldn’tΒ have a more awesome variety!
Started over two decades ago, Sonar is a three-day advanced electronic music festival held in Barcelona. This year, the festival is going to be bigger and better than ever before and will even be hosted across two venues that include Fira Montjuic (Sonar By Day) and Fira Gran Via (Sonar By Night). The event will be held from 15th through 17th of June, 2017.
Thanks to its advanced reputation, there will be a range of different artists all set to light up this festival including Β Nicolas Jaar,Β Moderat,Β Justice, Fat Freddy’s Drop (who will play twice, on Friday and Saturday),Β Cashmere CatΒ and hip-hop trioΒ De La Soul.
There will also be special DJ sets fromΒ Eric Prydz,Β Nina Kraviz,Β The Black Madonna,Β Damian LazarusΒ andΒ Clams Casino.
In addition to the dynamic variety of electronic artists performing, there will also be a heavy trap and hip-hop contingent that will include UK’S Nadia Rose, rising Spanish duo Kinder Malo & Pimp Face and Estonian rapper Tommy Cash.
The festival’s digital industry conference, Sonar+D, will even be running for an extra day starting on Wednesday, June 14th.
With such a huge variety of original artists, the festival is definitely going to be insane.
