The Riverboats Festival, 2015, to be held in the scenic Echuca-Moama, Victoria,Β will feature Sarah Blasko, Dan Sultan and The Whitlams, among many other artistes
Australia is home to some mean festivals – be it the multi-city Big Day Out, the hardstyle gathering Defqon.1 or the New Year’s Eve music mecca Falls Festival. Alongside these biggies, there are several smaller festivals that appear on the calendar. One such fest, The Riverboats Festival, which has earned accolades thanks to its beautiful location and impressive line-up, has just announced its line-up. The three-day event will be held from February 13-15, 2015.
Sarah Blasco, will be headlining the gathering. TheΒ singer-songwriter from Down Under weaves aΒ lush tapestryΒ by combining uncomplicated lyricsΒ withΒ part-breezy-part-buoyant tunes.
Rock ‘n rollerΒ Dan Sultan will also bringing his madness to the stage at the festival.
The other perfomers include Tex Perkins & The Dark Horses, The Whitlams, The Bamboos, Adalita, Mick Harvey, Diesel, Fraser A Gorman, Matt Walker & The Lost Ragas, Sal Kimber & The Rollinβ Wheel, Stella Angelico & The Switch and Raised by Eagles.
The festival is held by the bountiful Murray river and in a natural amphitheatre. Its laid-back, easy-going vibe, not to mention inexpensive tickets, has made it a popular destination among people looking to spend a relaxing time at a music festival.
