Never thought you’d see Eminem, Calvin Harris, Pearl Jam & Skrillex perform on the same stage? Think again.
Austin, Texas – widely considered as the ‘Live music capital of the world’, will host, arguably, the most genre – rich festival in North America, come October, as electronic music stamps its authority over another music festival.
Unsurprisingly, some big names are set to take the stage. Check it out below
The Austin City Limits Music Festival returns for its 13th edition the weekend of Oct. 3-5 and again the following weekend, Oct. 10-12. Headliners announced include Eminem, Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Beck, Lana Del Rey, Calvin Harris, and Foster the People. All in all, over 130 acts will perform at Austin’s Zilker Park for about 75,000 concert go-ers each day.
Lorde is another big name on the lineup, Hip hop duo Outkast are also scheduled to appear, adding yet another festival performance to their already busy 2014 schedule. They recently ended a multi-year hiatus with two headlining sets at Coachella and will hit the Counterpoint Festival in Georgia this weekend as well.
Apart from the variety of genres of music on display the event will also feature the ACL Art Market and ACL Cares, an area of the festival comprised of organizations supporting various causes that encourages people to get involved.
3 day passes for the event have been priced at US$ 225, which is roughly about INR 13,500. This one looks absolutely worth the money. You can buy them HERE.
