The Copenhagen based rapper unleashes a powerful protest anthem!

After her critically acclaimed EPs Vibrate to Win and Cityboy (released on Enchufada)ALO WALA aka Shivani Ahlowalia is all set to independently release her next project.  Her new music video “Paralyzed” is an audio-visual experience on a mission to bring the world together and fearlessly push in the face of hate across the world! Produced by Branko and Clap Clap, “Paralyzed” uses Afro-centric beats fused with dazzling flute melodies and a heavy bass line in keeping with ALO WALA’s signature global bass style.

The club-centric track can easily be placed in a dance floor while making a socio-political statement beyond economic and cultural barriers, as clearly imbibed in the video. Featuring an ecelectic mix of gully dancers from F. A. M. O. U. S. crew, acrobatics from the students of Mallakhamb India School and cameo appearances by music producer Zokhuma aka Arman Menzies, Homegrown co-founder Mandovi Menon and entrepreneur Pranav Sawhney.

With the catchy refrain of “paralyzed in paradise” the Chicago-born MC addresses the greater injustice humanity creates and impose on our ourselves, keeping us from living an optimal life on this planet that is paradise.
