Guns N’ Roses became the victim of a prank by AC/DC!
When Guns N’ Roses arrived in Australia for their world tour, they got played by AC/DC with a classic ‘airport security’ prank and it was hilarious. GnR have a bunch of shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in the next week.
When AC/DC guitarist, Angus Young, stopped the band for a security check and urged them to stay on the plane, Guns N’ Roses’ members believed Angus Young to be a member of airport staff!
“Told we had to stay on plane last night in Sydney; ‘airport security’ wanted to do a check,” wrote Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan. “We waited. It was Angus Young is an orange vest!”
