From cruise festivals to festivals in the snow, there are some fantastic music festivals coming your way this january. Here’s The Sherp’s recommended list!

1. BPM Festival

When: January 8 to January 18
Where:Β Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

Over the years, BPM Mexico has served as a very important 10 day festival (set on some of Mexico’s best beaches), where attendees can have a taste of Mexican night-life along with some prime Mexican culture. BPM is an early start to the spring festival season!

Where: Panama City, Panama

3. CTM Festival

When : January 23
Where: Berlin, Germany

CTM Festival is the most important festival of innovative pop, electronic and experimental music in German-speaking countries today. 4. Bugged Out Weekender

When: January 16 to Β January 18
Where:Β London, UK

Bugged Out is one of the UK’s longest running club nights reaching 20 years in 2014.Β The Bugged Out Weekender is staged at Butlins Bognor Regis Resort. 6. Jam Cruise

When: January 6 to January 11
Where: Florida, United States

A cruise fest, that started it all. Imagine five days on a boat, travelling to three different countries, amazing music and the gorgeous Mexican horizon always in your sight. Sounds terrific no?

7. Sneeuwbal

When:Β January 31
Where: Utrecht, Netherlands

Sneeuwbal is pretty much a prime winter festival of tech-house & deep house + Β great stages, brilliant pizza, skiing and the works, Β all held in a quaint city centre.

8. Β 70000 TONS OF METAL 2015

When: January 22 to 26
Where:Β Florida, USA

We’ve all heard of dance music cruise festivals, but have you heard of some that cater to metal fans?

The aptly named 70000 TONS OF METAL festival is a floating metal extravaganza that includes 60 bands, 120 shows and only 3000 people on a 154,000 ton ship.
