There is a brand new festival coming to Manchester on August 31st and it’s called Hide & Seek. 

It deals in quality underground sounds from the worlds of house, techno and disco and promises to be an intimate affair.

The line upΒ 

Only dealing in classy names form the underground worlds of hosue, techno and disco, the likes of Shonky, Jeremy Underground, Mathew Johnson, Margaret Dygas, Nicolas Lutz, Dan Shake and more are all set to being their own styles to the table. 

The locationΒ 

The festival will be held in the magical ‘Mill Wood’ area of the historic Capesthorne Hall, a stately home set in 100 acres of picturesque Cheshire countryside, in amongst three lakes and stunning gardens. It is the first in the region to offer a one-day trip through underground genres in such a setting and will be truly special. 

The team behind it

This is a debut event but there should be no worries about the quality of it all because it comes from You&Me. The well-established team have been making their mark in Manchester for four years now. In that time they’ve brought themselves to the forefront of the city’s underground party scene while capturing the attention of DJs and dancers from around the UK and Europe. 

The productionΒ 

This is an intimate event that allows you to get up close and personal with your favourite acts and dance in nice cosy confines. The team also promise a big focus on artistic installations and outstanding audio-visual production that should make the whole thing that bit more special. 

The local aspect

Next to the big names, there are a wealth of local promoters and DJs playing who will always bring the party. Expect to hear the sounds of MODU:LAR, Set One Twenty, Animal Crossing, Pooku, Augmented, iQ, Tranquil and Mango Club with more details yet to be announced.
