With its long Atlantic coast, New Jersey is most definitely known for its delicious seafood throughout the year. While you can probably find a great seafood dish at most local restaurants, The Crab Shack is worth a visit if you are there on vacation.

3. Yankee Doodle Tap Room
When in Princeton, New Jersey, a trip to the Yankee Doodle Tap Room is a must. This historic bar was first opened in 1756, and the tavern has never failed to entertain its customers since. A favorite for both locals and tourists, the Yankee Doodle Tap Room is very much in the style of a traditional English tavern.
You can try up to 20 beers on top, with the list changing throughout the year to incorporate local craft beers. They also have ample beers in bottles, and you can ask the bartender to make your favorite cocktails too.

4. Rutgers Garden
If you find yourself near the New Brunswick area, you must visit Rutgers Garden. The local park is a beautiful spot to relax, unwind, and take some great photographs by yourself or with family and friends.
What many people do not know is that Rutgers Garden is home to the second-largest collection of holly in America. You can experience these beautiful flowers for most of the year, while there is even a farmers market nearby that is bustling on certain days of the week.

5. Lucy the Elephant in Atlantic City
If you want to see a unique structure in a fun city, then a trip to Atlantic City is a must. Not only will you enjoy the gambling capital of the state, but you can also admire Lucy the Elephant. A giant six-story tall building that is in the shape of an elephant, Lucy was designed by James Lafferty back in 1881.
The building has stood the test of time and is now the ultimate tourist attraction for people who visit Jersey from all corners of the globe. You can even go up a spiral staircase to the very top if you are brave enough, and see the spectacular view from the top of Lucy.
