Art Bengaluru is coming closer and closer, so we have some pretty strong reasons why you should attend this year’s edition!
Indiaβs IT hub is going to transform into an artist retreat over the next couple of days with the Art Bengaluru festival. Back with a bang for its 7th year, itβs time to tickle your art buds with an array of workshops and events ranging from musical performances to cultural showcases. Hereβs why you should attend this yearβs edition from 19th to 28th August.
1. Karsh Kale Collective
Billboard Magazine tagged him as a visionary producer and composer. After all, Karsh Kale has donned the hat of a DJ, producer, composer and live performer for over 12 years now. He is also considered as one of the pioneering figures of the Asian Underground genre. His superlative tabla skills have landed him collaborative projects with the likes of legendary artists such as Zakir Hussain. Kale featured as a music producer for MTV Coke Studio and produced some of the shows most innovative tracks along with popular artists like Warren Mendonsa, Monali Thakker and Benny Dayal.
2. Wolfpack
The Belgian duo has set the biggest EDM stages on fire with their progressive sounds and enviable collaborations. Their hit singles βTurn it Upβ and βFinding Tomorrow/Ocarinaβ with close buds Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike, have given them the necessary edge in the competitive world of electronic music. In 2014, Wolfpack debuted at a strong #84 in DJ Magβs Top 100 DJs poll. Theyβve been featured on several of the worldβs biggest electronic music record labels like Spinninβ and Doorn.
3. Canon Photography Workshop

The big daddy of cameras, Canon, is conducting a 2-day long workshop for those with a passion for photography, both young and old. Under the guidance of Ankit (acclaimed wedding photographer), adults will be taken through the specifics of candid and portrait photography while Suryarshi (a decade into the profession) will introduce kids to the basics of using a camera along with its features and functions. She is the perfect expert to guide young minds.
4. Senior Intern Program

Retirement is no longer the end of the road for senior citizens. Caveo has designed a Senior Intern Program to help seniors find a stress-free work environment in Bengaluru. 5. Marco93 Light Painting Workshop
