India’s psytrance festival season is picking up with the approaching summer and the Sherp lists 10 psytrance gathering must-haves.Β

India is no stranger to the wonders of Psytrance. Ever since the travelling hippies of the west introduced the genre to the Indian people way back in the seventies, the magical sound waves of Psytrance has seen a massive growth in terms of popularity and cult-following. The season is picking up, and the Sherp helps you tick off a few items off your list before you begin packing.
1. LED Toys
Life at 160 bpm can get a little monotonous in the beginning, so carry your neon whips, flashy bracelets, your UV glow balls and try your hand at developing skills you don’t even know about.
2. Glow-In-The-Dark Make UpΒ
Because colors are a vital part of a psychedelic gig, paint your face with it.
3. A Lighter LeashΒ
Make sure nobody strips you off one of the most commonly lost items in the history of mankind.
4. Flat & Closed Shoes/ BarefeetΒ
Psytrance gigs usually go on longer than your basic EDM cookout. Stomping your feet can be made much easier if you dress smart.
5. Fanny PackΒ
Come on, even The Rock uses it. Car keys, deodorant, cell phone. Hang it up safely around your waist.
6. Hearing Protection Earplugs
You don’t want to know what Frankie Wilde went through. Protect your ear drums, because there’s going to be loud music and plenty of it.
7. Plenty Of WaterΒ
Hydrate yourself at regular intervals.
8. Dress Appropriately

Move around freely. Don’t dress to impress, because out here, nobody gives a damn.
