With less than two weeks to go for Asia’s largest electronic music gathering, The Sherp names 10 acts that you wouldn’t want to miss at the Vagator festival this year

Year after year, the guys at Sunburn manage to assemble a line-up that would give many international festivals a run for their money. This year, they’ve decided to bring down a blend of upcoming as well as already-established acts. Dominated by a number of British names, the roster has some serious promise and here’s 10 performances that you’d be a fool to miss out on:
1. Knife Party – December 28, Dance Temple Stage

The Australian duo have performed all around the world, and with their fresh new album destroying the Beatport charts, you can be assured their set will be among the top moments at the festival.
2. Sub Focus – December 29, Cubezoid Stage

The UK has a heritage of diverse dance music and there’s so much talent on offer, one of the guys flying the flag across world is Sub Focus. His music is a beautiful blend of drum and bass and anthem-ic sounds. Watch out for this one.
3. Baauer – December 29, Cubezoid Stage

The man behind the Harlem Shake rose to instant fame after his track broke the internet with devastating effect. But his rise to fame cannot be solely credited to the track, as he continues to produce some of the most ethnic trap and bass sounds, and is also renowned for putting up quite a show.
4. Sasha – December 29, Space Station Stage
Another fine British export, Sasha is a musician in every sense of the word. His music is very uplifting, the house stage is the place to be when he’s on the decks.
5. MAKJ – December 29, Dance Temple Stage

2014 has been a splendid year for Mackenzie Johnson who initially wanted to be a race car driver. Hailed as one of the best ‘DJ’s’ in the industry, prepare yourselves for some smooth transitions and avoid getting too hooked to a single track during his set.
6. Emma Hewitt – December 28, Cubezoid

Trance vocalist Emma Hewitt has lent her voice to some of the genre’s most memorable tracks over the years and she’s a master at engaging audiences when she performs live. All of you present at last year’s EVC might remember her captivating performance alongside Cosmic Gate.
7. Klingande – December 27, Dance Temple

Frenchmen Klingande are renowned for placing his very own, unique stamp to house music. They beautifully pit together authentic saxophone sounds with a sort of tropical house variant. Mellow down in the beautiful Vagator sands with their sounds.
8. Avalon – December 29, Space Jungle Stage

One of the biggest names in the international psy-trance circuit, he will be leading the line-up at the special psychedelic stage at Sunburn this year. His uplifting psy-trance perfectly suits the Goa vibe and this stage is a blessing for the locals who are used to the genre in the coastal state.
9. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – December 29, Dance Temple

10. Paris Blohm – December 28, Dance Temple Stage
