The Animated megastars are making the ultimate comeback!
After almost six years of being away, the virtual band the Gorillaz are all set to launch their album, Humanz on the 28th of April. True to their unusual antics, however, the band is not satisfied with a run-of-the-mill album for their legendary comeback. Creator and lead artist Jamie Hewlett is set to create a ten-episode series on the Gorillaz that will air on television, alongside new artwork, merch, and even a clothing line of their own!

As if that wasn’t enough, the band are all set to launch their first ever music festival! The Demon Dayz festival will be a one-day extravaganza at Dreamland Amusement Park in Margate, England on the 10th of June, complete with three stages and the Gorillaz occupying the headline slot. The event will reportedly also feature collaborators of the newest Gorillaz album, including Noel Gallagher, Grace Jones, Danny Brown and others. There are even rumors of a Chicago-edition of the festival sometime this summer! Demon Dayz is curated by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett and has joined forces with Red Bull for their inaugural year. The festival will be broadcasted live, exclusively to the world through Red Bull TV.
