The next chapter in DimensionRED’s clubbing extravaganza will feature German electronic pioneer, Thomas Gold, who will be coming down for a 2-city tour
November has been a crazy month for big international names in India, with a number of festivals and events bringing down some world-class acts to the country. The slurry of big names continues as DimensionRED, the property aimed at rattling India’s current clubbing scene, can now boast a spectacular addition to their gig calendar with German DJ/producer Thomas Gold. Creative production skills, pioneering mixing talent and the interesting fusion of house and electro styles are the reason behind his success. The magic you hear in his productions is just as evident in his DJ sets. The earthshaking basslines and cutting edge electro house beats tear apart clubs throughout the world as Thomas’ intuition sets dance floors on fire and keeps the crowd rocking till the early hours. His undeniable skill as a remixer has also seen him remix tracks for massive artists like Erick Morillo, Paul van Dyk, Roger Sanchez, Ian Carey, Antoine Clamaran, Alex Gaudino, Laurent Wolf and Peter Gelderblom.
Gold’s musical Midas touch earned him the honor of a coveted record deal with close friend Axwell’s acclaimed Axtone Recordings, and he wasted no time in taking the Swedish House Mafioso’s label to the top of the charts. “Sing2Me” rode its Miami anthem status straight to Beatport’s No. 1 spot. The biggest names in dance music flocked to support the hit, providing a clarion call for Gold’s signature style, which was fleshed out on his brilliant Essential Mix and ‘Axtone Presents Thomas Gold‘ compilation album later that year.
