Headlined by none other than the homegrown band Of Monsters and Men, this icy extravaganza is going to be absolutely epic.
Music festivals have become so commonplace these days, that they need to amp up the uniqueness factor in order to get noticed. Festivals spend a huge amount of time and money on a larger-than-life settings, atmosphere and one-of-a-kind concept. The Secret Solstice Festival just announced the dates for next year’s party, the highlight of which is that it’s going to be held inside a glacier!
Langjökull is an Icelandic paradise that’s known for being the second-largest ice cap in the country. The festival is actually a scenic bus ride away from Reykjavík, from where attendees head to the top of the glacier in a former NASA rocket transporter. If this isn’t awesome enough already, the entire festival is going to held in the glacier, where festival-goers are surrounded by beautiful, pristine ice.
Only the first phase of the lineup has been announced, and artists include Of Monsters and Men, Kerri Chandler, Deetron, Amabadama, Lady Leshurr among others.
