Polo G arrested in Miami for resisting arrest with violence

Polo G aka the Capalot is riding a wave of success this year, with his highly anticipated album just arriving, he can’t be any happier. The new project by the rapper, titled Hall of fame is set to debut at no. 1 on the Billboard Charts with more than 175,000 album-equivalent units being moved in the first week of the release.

All seems well and good for the 22-year-old Chicago rapper until last Friday when he got into a feud with officers on duty.

Polo G arrested in Miami

When Polo G was returning from the release party of his new project, he was stopped by the police. He was in the passenger seat of the car and his friends and security accompanied him.

According to official statements, Polo G was charged with, resisting arrest with violence, criminal mischief, and battery on a police officer. Apparently, he even told his friend to attack the police, with firearms!

Although he got release pretty quickly on bail, the camera footage hasn’t been made public yet.

To this incident, Polo G’s mother, who also is his manager, took to Twitter to rant about her kid’s arrest. According to her, there was no reason for the police to pull over her kid’s car. She then released her son and his affiliates from jail.
