It’s The Ship happens to be the worlds 2nd largest EDM festival on a cruise and also Asia’s largest! This years edition of It’s The Ship promises to be bigger and better. The four-day and three-night floating party is set to depart from the Marina Bay cruise in Singapore on November 4. The cruise will head over international waters of Malacca to the pearl of the Orient, Penang before returning back to the shores of Singapore on November 7.

The island is located on the west coast of Malaysia and is known to be one the food paradises of Malaysia. The island is also known for its highly vibrant lifestyle and diverse art scene. This happens to be the first ever edition of ITS to sail for Penang.

2. Lineup

The lineup for this years ITS has some banger names right from the likes of heavyweights like Knife Party and Dada Life to Sander Van Doorn and Andrew Rayel. Wanna know what’s the cherry on top? The party captain for the duration of the cruise is none other than Baywatch legend, David Hasselhoff! You can be sure to have the time of your life and witness some mad scenes go down!

3. Flights

Although flights to Singapore are a little on the higher side, the Singapore Changi airport is situated only 20 minutes away from The Marina Bay Cruise Terminal which makes additional costs a lot less heavier on your pocket! The Changi airport being the closest option, a round trip to Singapore from Mumbai will cost you around INR 28,000(for 1 person).

*Gratuities will be charged to your cabin account at the time of boarding in the amount of $38.85 per person for standard cabins (Junior Suites and smaller) and $47.85 per person for Grand Suites and larger.

*An additional $178.00 per person is added to your accommodation price to cover taxes, port fees, and ticketing fees.

Two twin beds that convert to a Royal King, measuring 72.5 inches wide by 82 inches long, private balcony, sitting area (some with sofa bed) and private bathroom.

Also includes minibar, vanity area, hair-dryer, TV, phone, vanity table with an extendable working surface for laptop computers and 110/220 electrical outlets. Some have sofa beds and can accommodate 3-4 guests.  Some can also accommodate a roll away bed or Play Yard.

2) Superior Oceanview w/ Balcony

6. F&B

Given the fact that the cruise rate includes everything from the cabin fees, meals, non-alcoholic beverages and all the activities on board the ship. The only considerable amount of money that would be spent is on alcohol and other tips which aren’t included in the package. According to their official page, alcohol prices range from $4-$15 for a beer or a proper cocktail drink. And for those of you who want to guzzle down on some of the best alcohol choices at the Ship, it’ll cost you around INR 10,000 per day. 

7. Spend some time in beautiful Singapore and bask in the rich culture of the city! 

The island city is one of the biggest tourist hot-spots till date. Right from the Merlion and Sentosa Islands to Universal Studios, there’s something for everyone in Singapore. The city boasts of a diverse cultural hub for creative arts, food and shopping. So it’s highly suggested that you plan your trip accordingly so that you get to stay a few days extra, because you definitely don’t want to miss out on the amazing stuff the city has to offer.
