Coachella’s New Technology Will Help You Adjust The Live Music You’re Hearing

Doppler Labs and Goldenvoice are bringing new tech to Coachella that will change your perception of live music forever.

Doppler Labs partnered with Goldenvoice at Coachella last year, distributing 100,000 free buds. This year, the Kickstarter company will debut their new project “Here Active Listening” at Coachella. This new technology can be connected wirelessly to a smartphone app that allows the wearer to alter (and adjust EQ) of real-time sounds.

Not just that, you can even remove or add effects like reverb, echo, flange, and even one that makes it sound like an old vinyl record. Ergo, you’re fundamentally constructing and modifying your own listening environment. Paul Tollett, Goldenvoice, commented on this new tech, saying, “Our partnership with Doppler Labs has been a passion project for us since the beginning. It’s been fascinating to watch Here go from a concept to a reality. Here puts the power of music back into the ears of Coachella attendees.” Stay tuned for more news.
