The announcement made by Benga last night has caused quite the stir online.
The beloved dubstep producer has called it quits. He is retiring from his DJ career. Since Benga has been a prominent figure in the early dubstep movement, fans aren’t taking this news too well. Here’s what Benga announced on his Facebook and Twitter…
And while fans are quite disappointed by this, fellow-producers are supporting his decision. Here’s what Skream had to say:

India was fortunate enough to see these two talents together last year. And while we, too, are bummed out by the thought of no more watching Benga play live, we wish him the best for his new beginnings! Thanks for giving us what you have, Benga!
