An XChange Worth Attending In Chennai

IndiEarthXChange is back for another year and this time it’s better than ever.

IndiEarthXChange is holding its fifth edition with a special tribute to the city of Chennai after it endured massive floods last year. For all of you who don’t know, IndiEarthXChange is India’s trade event for music, art, festivals and media where independent music artists, labels, independent filmmakers, venue owners and other personnel from the media industry have a chance to interact, attend workshops and experience performances by film makers and musicians alike. They will also be holding music and film festivals to showcase some of the finest talented artists from all over the world.

The event will be taking place in Chennai at The Park on the 26th and 27th Of November.

The artists for the Music Festival are Organic Bananas (France), Miss V (Live) feat Chaitanya Bhaidkar, Sauvage Sound System, Abhi Tambe, Aver and Aqua Dominatrix and the VIP Afterparty will have Nucleya hitting his beats after the festivities. The Film Festival will showcase films from all over the world including YKT from Mumbai, Lyari Notes the critically acclaimed collaboration which won an award at the International Documentary Film Festival in AmsterdamA Good Day to Die, Hoka Hey from Malaysia and a few others.

The workshops have a wide range and include Ableton Live: Studio to Stage with Yoav Rosenthal, Sound Design in Cinema with Anthony Ruban supported by Dolby, Artist Rights: New Authors and New Mediums and Virtual Reality: Creating Immersive Cinematic Experiences.

An exclusive Indi 100 Program will be taking place which will give 12 budding independent artists the ultimate chance to be recorded and mixed live at the event with Australian and Indian producers – Phil Graham, Dr. Kristina Kelman, Adam Greig, Jithu George, Deepak Sugathan and Yanto Browning.
