Worli Festival Is Back This Year To Transform Mumbai Into An Island Of Happiness

It’s the festival you just have to drive to in Mumbai!

Worli is being transformed into a playground for the fourth edition of the Worli Festival. The event will be taking place this month and people can gather together for some local fun, food and lots of music. After last year’s edition pulled in over 2 lakh visitors, this year’s edition is going to take things up a notch higher.

31st March to the 2nd of April will be the days for the festival and there is a lot to look forward to when the entire Worli sea face will have four stages where more than 32 performers will be entertaining the crowd. Big names in the music industry like Nikhil Chinapa, Parikrama, Akriti Kakkar, Mohammed Irfan, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Alif, Mihir Joshi and Best Kept Secret are all set to put their best performance forward.

Secretary of Worli Woods, Mr. Mohit Kapoor, said, “Worli Festival is a welcomed celebration in the neighborhood as it embraces people across Worli and Mumbai. Looking forward to the action packed weekend in January.”

Activities will be available in plenty with a number of stalls and a happy flea market which will have a variety of items on display. The area will be filled with art installations, healthy Mumbai events, Morning ragas taking place and a special 10k run which will also be organised.

‘Kolis of Worli’ will be a community zone dedicated specially to celebrate the original islanders of Worli, while the Masti Corner and Pet Adoption Centre will make kids scream with joy when they take their new best friends home.

Mrs. Sangeeta Ahir, founder of SSPL says, “We have supported Worli festival since its inception for its ability to unify the residents of Worli. I look forward to experience this island of happiness this year.”

We’re looking forward to all the fun and frolic that will take place. See you there!
