Australian rockers Wolfmother are going to be bringing their high energy, riff heavy, head-banging loaded signature sounds to the Indian shores this March.
Rising to fame on the backs of chart-busting releases like ‘Joker and the Thief’, ‘Woman’ amongst others, vocalist and guitarist Andrew Stockdale, bassist and keyboardist Chris Ross, and drummer Myles Heskett, have spread their amazing sound across the globe creating an almost cultish fan following in almost every corner of the planet. Apart from amassing a mad horde of loyal fans, Wolfmother have also scooped up a large number of awards on their ride to the top including the coveted J Award in 2005, the 2006 ARIA Awards for Best Breakthrough Album and Best Rock Album and even a Grammy for “Woman”.
After a long break and a revision in the original line-up, Wolfmother came back with a bang to release album ‘Cosmic Egg’ which received rave reviews from fans. After a few more line-up changes and a few more breaks, the band is back to touring and are even working on a new album that is expected to release this year.
