J.Cole Performed A Notorious B.I.G. Track At An LA Festival

J.Cole paid tribute to the late rapper by performing his classic hit, “Hypnotize.”

Rapper/Producer J.Cole was seen performing at Shaun White’s Air+Style festival. The two day festival features music on two stages along with art, fashion, and technology exhibits, and the world’s best snowboarders going head to head on Air + Style’s signature 16 story high snowboard jump. J.Cole was having a good night with a great crowd response as he performed his own hits, but in the middle of his banger “Who Dat,” he switched up to Biggie Small’s, “Hypnotize.”

The crowd went wild as J.Cole effortlessly displayed his prowess on the mic by not missing a lyric, nor skipping a beat as he replicated Biggie’s legendary flow. Pulling off such a stunt and acing it shows how good he really is as an artist while paying his respects to the rappers who paved the way. It’ll be fun to watch J.Cole do more such surprise performances as he performs at various festivals, including a headlining set at the Bonnaroo festival this year.
