Country artists, Eric Church, Maren Morris and Brothers Osbourne will perform in the performance segment of the Grammy’s on January 28th, 2018.

Last year, one of the most tragic incidents shook music festival fans attending the Route 91 Harvest music festival in Las Vegas, in October. 58 attendees were killed and over 500 injured from the 22,000 strong audience attending the festival, when gunman Stephen Paddock began firing into the crowd from a nearby hotel balcony.

Of the music acts performing at the Route 91 Harvest music festival, Eric Church, Maren Morris and Brothers Osbourne, will pay tribute to the victims of the shooting and perform a special tribute set at the Grammy’s.

“Live music events have always provided a safe space for fans to gather in a shared celebration of music. Sadly, that wasn’t always the case this past year,” Recording Academy President and CEO Neil Portnow said in a statement.

“We believe it’s incredibly important to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in these senseless tragedies and to remind musicians and music lovers alike that live music will continue to be a powerful force that unites us all.”

Five months prior to the Route 91 Harvest – Mandalay Bay hotel shooting, a bomb-blast incident during Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena, England, had attendees in peril.

The 60th edition of the Grammy Awards will be hosted by James Corden, and will take place on Jan. 28 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
