Two Geniuses Carried A Shitload Of Drugs Into Bonnaroo; What Happens Next Won’t Surprise You At All

Two wannabe Heisenbergs at Bonnaroo smuggled in enough drugs for an entire army – 202 jars of THC oil, 60 panes of blotter acid, 241 bags of Ketamine and 1,210 grams of a “green plantlike material” believed to be marijuana. (DUH)

There’s a lot of weird stuff going on at festivals, which of course adds flavour to the entire experience, but then there are some things that nobody can explain. Everybody knows music festivals are a hotbed for buying, selling and consuming controlled substances and there are always some trying to make a quick buck but this duo was way in over their heads. According to the details of a major drug bust at the festival, Chattanooga residents Brian Anthony Wiley (29), and Trevor Franklin Watson III (24), were arrested Thursday after being caught with “a very large amount of drugs,” which is putting it mildly.

Though the exact street value of the drugs isn’t known, Watson was found carrying 6 bottles of THC oil (15ml each), 10 bags of a green plantlike material weighing about 20 grams believed to be marijuana, 2 grams of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, 4 capsules of Molly, 14 bags of a crystal substance weighing about 14 grams of a substance also believed to be Molly and 13 bags of a powdery substance weighing about 13 grams believed to be Ketamine.

Not to be left behind, Wiley was in possession of 202 jars of THC oil, two bags of mushrooms (7 grams each), three bags with about 60 panes of blotter acid, 241 bags of about 120.5 grams of what is believed to be Ketamine; 22 bags of a white powdery substance weighing about 144.5 grams of what is believed to be cocaine; six Xanax bars; and 220 bags weighing about 1,210 grams of a green plantlike material believed to be marijuana.

Authorities also seized cash believed to have been used in drug transactions, a ledger and drink cans with false containers from Wiley. Watson faces charges of manufacturing, delivering, selling and possession of a controlled substance while Wiley has been charged with manufacturing, delivering, selling and possession of a controlled substance as well as possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia. What is confusing is how the dynamic duo thought they would get away with just strolling around with such large amounts of drugs. This is exactly why peddlers should keep out of their own product.

As of Monday, Watson was being held on $50,000 bond and Wiley was being held on $255,000 bond before they appear in the Coffee County General Sessions Court on August 12.
