One of America’s oldest and most popular hip hop event in downtown Atlanta will feature performance, art installations and film screenings
For its upcoming 10th edition, the A3C Festival is upping its ante. Expect no less than 500 performers, multiple art installations and innumerable film screenings this year. Held annually in the month of October, the popular event is held at four bustling neighbourhoods in Atlanta.
At this five-day event (October 8-12), you can look forward to:1. The music
This year’s line-up includes crowd favourites Black Thought, The LOX, Slaughterhouse, Scarface, Mystikal & Juvenile, among many others.
Black Thought
The iconic roots outfit has been amassing fans at the speed of light, thanks to his lovely grooves.
Slaughterhouse
With their onstage histrionics and thumping beats, the rap supergroup has all it takes to get a crowd in the mood.
2. The films
The A3C Film Festival will feature screening, panel discussions and premiers. Our recommendation? Don’t miss the screening of Divided Time, about a man juggling fatherhood with his music career.

Also, Nas’ Time Is Ill Matic is a kick-ass film you wouldn’t want to miss.
3. The art
We’d just let the pictures do the talking here.
