On November 13-15, fans come together for a festival that’s dedicated entirely to the hit sci-fi show. Thousands of people are expected to show up at the first edition of this event. This exciting gathering of Doctor Who fans is also going to travel to Australia later this month, from November 21-22 at Sydney Moore Park.
All of the Saturday tickets are sold out, and people are going to come dressed as their favourite doctors and characters from the show. It’s also going to look at the behind-the-scenes action on the set, and a section of the venue will showcase sets, costumes and how the show creates special effects. There are also going to be drama school sessions and the opportunity to try out some of the on-set jobs in the production village!
Fans are also in for a real treat, as Peter Capaldi, the current Time Lord and Jenna Coleman, who plays his companion Clara Oswald will be making an appearance at the festival, and will even be joined by Michelle Gomez, who has a recurring role in the series as Missy, and Ingrid Oliver, who plays Osgood.
