The Wait Is Over! Foreign Beggars, Jon Hopkins and Peking Duk to play at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender

You need to hold your horses no more. These three electronic music giants will blow your socks off at the upcoming Bacardi NH7 Weekender Festivals

Yesterday, The Sherp scooped out that the upcoming editions of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender Festival will feature three iconic electronica artistes. And it turns out that some of our best guesses are on the line-up! Festival-goers at the Pune edition of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender will be treated to an insane set by British dubstep mammoths Foreign Beggars. And those who’re planning to attend the Kolkata and Bangalore legs, now have another reason to go. Australian electro house duo Peking Duk is playing both cities, while the UK-based DJ Jon Hopkins will be on the Bangalore line-up.

Foreign Beggars have already tasted success with the India audience before, and will definitely be one of the most anticipated acts to play the festival. And we’re guessing it will only be a matter of time before Peking Duk and Jon Hopkins, too, amass fans here.

The Canberra-based Peking Duk is a young outfit comprising Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. Their fresh, addictive sound is quite promising, and that easily explains their explosive sets at festivals such as Big Day Out, Falls Festival and Splendour In the Grass, among others.

Jon Hopkins might just be one of the most awesome finds at the festival this year. The English producer has got the energy, the groove and the right balance of on-stage charm and quirk to get the party started. He’s been the keyboard player with celebrated singer-songwriter Imogen Heap’s outfit as well as teamed up with Coldplay and David Holmes in the past.
