The Pitchfork 2016 Lineup Is Here!

The annual Pitchfork Music Festival, organized by Pitchfork Media is back for its 12th edition!

The Pitchfork Music Festival is the pride of Chicago which has played host to the festival since 11 years. This year the festival returns to its roots at Union Park from July 15 to 17. The lineup reflects greater emphasis on several indie bands, fewer big names and a couple of classic rock acts. The lineup features the likes of Brian Wilson, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jermih, Porches and Beach House among others.

The festival focuses primarily on artists and bands from alternative rock, rap & hip-hop, electronica, and dance music, although it has also included acts from hardcore punk, experimental/avant-garde rock and jazz in its lineups. In addition to music, the Pitchfork Festival also includes food, beverages, art, and gig posters from local, regional, and national vendors. It also hosts a record fair that is organized and managed by CHIRP Radio, a Chicago community radio station.
