The Amsterdam Dance Event has announced the first wave of acts set to appear at this year’s edition.
Already reputed as one of the top partying spots on the globe, The Amsterdam Dance Event is the European equivalent to WMC (World Music Conference) that takes place in Miami each year. n the past eighteen years ADE has grown into a renowned platform for the international dance scene. The festival is the perfect place to spot the latest developments: the latest musical trends and emerging talents to the most recent work of the pioneers and superstars.
For five days, ADE will play host to 300 events and 2,000 DJs from across 80 different clubs and venues. ADE also features a series of music conferences, workshops, and product demonstrations. Over 300,000 visitors from 75 countries are expected to attend the event, making it the largest international club festival in the world. Here’s the initial line up:
In the past three years the ADE Festival has almost doubled in size. This year’s program covers a record number of 80 locations across the city. From traditional venues like Melkweg, Paradiso, Trouw, Escape and Studio 80, to major locations such as the Concertgebouw, the Westergasfabriek, the Convention Factory, Heineken Music Hall, Ziggo Dome and the Amsterdam RAI, the ADE Festival is truly the biggest club festival in world.
